On the path to madness:
lose bus pass.
no heat in apartment.
lose sleep because bedroom is an icebox.
heat is on in apartment, but not in my bedroom.
turn space heater on to compensate for no heat in bedroom.
blow fuse.
turn space heater off, sleep in wool hat.
rain on wednesday, I choose red sox umbrella over raincoat.
bad idea. it's windy.
office is testing the fire alarm. it goes off sporadically throughout the morning. i am sitting directly beneath it.
get out of the office, go to bank to get quarters (see lost bus pass, above). think being wet is better than being deaf.
my red sox umbrella suffers irreperable damages.
they are still testing the fire alarm.
